Recruitment & Selection Process

First of all, you need to send us your CV and you can upload that here unless you are applying for a specific vacancy,  in which case please ensure you mark your covering letter with the appropriate reference. If you haven’t worked in care at this stage, we are happy to hear about you caring for members of your family or volunteering in the community.

If you are successful, our recruitment process is as follows

  • Initial telephone interview
  • Face-to-face interview or ‘Skype’ interview
  • Screening, including referencing and Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks

Induction Programme

Those individuals who pass our selection process will undergo our modular training programme which includes the key skills required by the Care Certificate before commencing working autonomously complimented by our work assessment programme which is recorded in their Care Portfolio.

Specialist Training

For those individuals specifying a desire to care for individuals with more specific needs training in specialist conditions such as Dementia, Stroke, MS and Parkinson's will be provided.

Continuous Professional Development

Many of our existing Care Professionals are degree level educated and have vast experience of working in care. Their on-going training and career development is paramount to what we do. All of our new recruits will have a development plan to ensure they are constantly developing their skills and continually improving our service.

We will support your career through education and learning including the completion of the QCF level 2 and 3 diploma in Health and Social care. Those of you who wish to progress to management level will be supported to complete the level 5 diploma.
